Community Recreation Center (CRC) UpdateThis week, over 3+ feet of snow arrived in Mammoth Lakes covering the Sprung structure and the expansive mobility hub. Crews on the inside were pulling the interior membrane panels, working on the locker room foundations, lobby restrooms and utilities. In the coming weeks, several subcontractors will be on site to build out the interior of the CRC and get us that much closer to opening in 2023. The Town appreciates the community’s understanding and patience as we work towards enhancing our community recreation amenities. Look for the weekly #crcupdates on the Town's Facebook page. Temporary park closure: For the duration of construction for the new Community Recreation Center, the Mammoth Creek Park playground, restrooms and parking lot will be CLOSED to the public.
