Community Recreation Center (CRC) Update - May 7, 2021

Work continues on the site with heavy equipment moving around the site and parking lot in preparation for foundation and utility work.  In the interest of public safety, the playground remains closed.

The Town is working with TESLA to install charging stations as part of the CRC parking area which will serve as minor mobility hub. Outreach to providers of ‘Universal Charging’ stations are ongoing as well. The site will also be served by ESTA’s extensive service routes.

Did you know? A Sprung Performance Arena was selected by the Town for its affordability, reduced operating and energy expenses and green footprint. Sprung structures are known for their exceptional durability - a necessity in a typical Mammoth Lakes winter - and for their proven long-term performance, quality ice surface, interior brightness, and high ceiling allowing for a multitude of sports.
