Wave Rave Skate Camp

Wave Rave Skate Camp is Back!

Registration for a modified Wave Rave Skate Camp opens on Monday, July 6 at 8:00 am, limited at this time to one registration per child. Wave Rave is offering three sessions: July 20-22, July 27-29, and August 3-5 from 9:00 am to noon at Volcom Brothers Skatepark, $80 per participant. Register here. Unlimited registration per child will open on Friday, July 10 at 8:00 am. 


Summer Camps Registration

Registration for our Mammoth Sampler Camps is open. This year we will be offering a 4.5 day summer camp sampler, a blend between Wilderness Camp, Adventure Camp and Mountain Bike Camp for ages 6-9 and 10-14. Each camp will have a different itinerary and will meet and pick-up from different daily locations. Meeting Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to noon. Camps will run weekly beginning July 13 through August 10. New waivers must be submitted the week before camps start.Limited to one registration per child. Register here. Unlimited registration per child will open on Friday, July 10 at 8:00 am.

Summer Recreation Challenge

The Mammoth Lakes Summer Recreation Challenge - a fun and friendly competition to introduce and encourage recreation opportunities in and around Mammoth Lakes. Participants can register as individuals, families or teams, and accrue points by undertaking a variety of recreation activities. Awards will be presented in multiple categories including highest point scorer, best photo, and ’lucky finisher’ prizes. Join the challenge today and explore what Mammoth Lakes has to offer this summer!

Mammoth Lakes Library Story Hour and Curbside Pickup

Join Mammoth Lakes library for a virtual story hour Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 am in English and  Saturdays at 10:30 am in Spanish via the Mammoth Lakes Library Facebook Page. Mammoth Library also has a resource page to cure those cabin fever blues. NEW! Curbside pick up available.

Summer camp registration will open on Monday, June 29 at 8:00 am. Limited to one camp per child, see above for more info and register here. 


Challenger Sports Soccer Camps - In person & online

Challenger Sports will be able to host their International Soccer Camp (July 13-17) and Tetra Brazil Soccer Camp (August 3-7). They have also developed a virtual camp curriculum for week-long camps beginning June 1. For more information, or to register, please visit their website. Any registrations for in-person camps that are cancelled by Challenger Sports will receive a FULL refund.

UK International Soccer Camps - In person

UK International Soccer will be able to host their Classic Soccer Camps (June 29-July 3 and July 27-31). For more information, or to register, please visit their website. Any registrations for camps that are cancelled by UK International Soccer will be moved to 2021, free of charge.

Play-Well TEKnologies Virtual Lego Camps - Online

Mammoth Parks and Recreation Department have partnered with Play-Well TEKnologies to bring you TWO online Lego camps this summer. Camps will take place July 6-10 and August 3-7 from 9am-12pm. Upon registration, participants will be provided with a list of materials they can source from personal collections or have delivered prior to the start of camp (additional materials fee). Ground Up Climbing Camps

Shakespeare Camp returns to Mammoth this July

Shakespeare Kids Summer Performance Camp is a wonderful opportunity for your child to have fun learning & DOING Shakespeare. We combine specialty workshops in swords, improv, crafts, dance AND play rehearsal in an enriching fun summer camp atmosphere IN THE WOODS.  Camp ends with a performance of an edited version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. 15th Annual Freedom Mile - Virtual

Join the Mammoth Lakes Track Club 4th of July weekend for a virtual edition of the 15th Annual Footloose Freedom Mile. Upon entering, you will receive an email with a printable bib number to wear during your run. This is an honor-system run, so no need to upload information or track it with a GPS device.

Crowley Lake Fun Run 

The 4th Annual Crowley Lake Trail run goes virtual, walk, jog or run your own 5k, 10k or kids 1k, all proceeds go to the Mammoth Hospital Foundation COVID-19 relief fund. Register and get more info here.

Stay Safe this 4th of July 

The Town of Mammoth Lakes encourages our community and visitors to enjoy our national holiday this weekend in a safe and responsible manner. Mammoth Lakes is open for business, but it’s not business as usual. This July 4th, as we celebrate our nation’s independence in the beautiful Eastern Sierra, we ask that you help us Stay Safe to Stay Open through vigilant adherence to all Public Health Orders. Staying safe and protecting each other is something we can control. If you love Mammoth Lakes, we invite you to join us in this united effort in support of our local businesses by staying safe and protecting our community.

Join the Mammoth Lakes Business Treasure Hunt, visit participating local businesses and collect tokens redeemable at welcome booths for prizes. While on your treasure hunt vote for your favorite 4th of July static float/decor at one of the ten participating businesses on Instagram by tagging the business and adding the hashtag #MammothLakes4thofJul.
