The Town of Mammoth lakes has formed partnerships with local NGOs (Non-Governmental Agencies) to support the work these agencies do to provide specialized or enhanced community services. The Town and its NGO partners share core community values and partner commitments which are outlined in the TOML NGO Strategic Alignment Plan 2025, completed June 1, 2016.
Mammoth Lakes Tourism acts as the marketing resource for tourism-dependent businesses in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Mammoth Lakes Tourism utilizes secured funding from the Mammoth Lakes Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) and unsecured funding from Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) to execute industry best practices and engage in opportunities and partnerships that will elevate the profile of the area.
Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce advocates for over 200 local businesses in creating a strong and vibrant local economy by promoting business development, supporting established businesses and encouraging new businesses and investment within the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
Mammoth Lakes Recreation aims to deliver cutting-edge sustainable recreation, mobility, and arts and culture opportunities and facilities for the benefit of the community and natural environment of Mammoth Lakes. Working with government leadership and private stakeholders to identify and develop trailblazing recreation opportunities that complement our world-class natural surroundings, Mammoth Lakes Recreation works to leverage the special funding sources already in place and introduce new and innovative ways for sustaining these valuable assets.
Mammoth Lakes Housing, Inc., with the political and financial support of the Town of Mammoth Lakes, supports workforce housing for a viable economy and a sustainable community, tackling one of the toughest issues facing Eastern Sierra communities today.
